“Derrick Rose will propel the Bulls to the finals,” words from Stephen A. Smith as he gives his predictions for the NBA Finals this up coming season. Shortly after that statement Skip Bayless fired back with a prediction of his own saying, “the Miami Heat will make the Eastern Conference Finals.” Although Bayless did not make a definite pick for the NBA Finals saying that the Heat will be in the Eastern Conference Finals means a lot, seeing as they just lost their best player in LeBron James. Bayless did how ever pick a team from the Western Conference to be in the NBA Finals, the San Antonio Spurs. This comes as no surprise since the Spurs are Bayless’ favorite team. The debate escalated once the Dallas Cowboys and NFC East were brought up. Smith who is on record for not being a Cowboys fan, who are currently 6-2 in the NFC East, had this to say when asked who is the best team in that division, “If you tell me that everyone is at their best and healthy, I am picking the Philadelphia Eagles.” Bayless on the other hand did not agree saying, “Dallas will finish at 10-6.” Smith and Bayless compliment each other and you will never know what they are going to say next, which is why you tune in everyday to see.
